NGI Engineroom: Workshop

This week I went to London to attend the meeting of Engineroom, an EU funded project to set the research agenda of the Next Generation Internet. The consortium of the project (Nesta, Eurecat and DELab at the University of Warsaw) organised two days of activities at the new offices of Nesta.

First, on the 21st of March, the workshop Building An Inclusive And Human-Centric Internet gathered experts from academia, industry and social agencies. The goal of the workshop was to disseminate the ongoing research of the project, to receive very valuable feedback, and to collaboratively design the upcoming Next Generation Internet funding calls and core research programmes. The day concluded with the event Reimagining The Internet to promote an open dialogue about the main challenges to be addressed in the near future.

Second, on the 22nd of March, an internal project meeting was held to review the next actions to be taken in Engineroom. If interested in the findings of this project, please check the updates at the Nesta website and suscribe at https://www.ngi.eu/about/ongoing-ngi-projects/engineroom/
