Last Saturday, I gave a 4 hour lecture in the “Master in Communication and Marketing Online” offered by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The lecture was devised to provide the students with a basic understanding of main concepts from “Social Network Analysis” addressing the following topics:
- Introduction to SNA
- Topology: Structural metrics
- Influence: Centrality metrics
- Virality: Propagation models
The class, held in the majestic Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, was a very enriching experience thanks to the interest shown by the students and Oscar Coromina (the program coordinator).
