Back in the summer, my colleague Franziska (Ziski) Putz from the Wikimedia Foundation Global Advocacy team told me she wanted to propose a contribution for the Mozilla Festival to showcase the Wikipedia Test with real cases from Barcelona. The Wikipedia Test is a tool designed to assess how new technology policies might impact a public-interest internet. Applying it to emerging digital regulations serves as an important flag to highlight critical issues in proposed regulation.
When I volunteered to share the collective experience of Decidim, alongside Albert Cañigueral Bagó, who covered insights from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, I could not have imagined just how exciting it would turn out to be! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and helped make our MozFest session truly unforgettable 🦊✨
